EMECA - BUSINESS REVIEW

THE FUTURE BELONGS TO EXHIBITIONS

Fairs and exhibitions are "shop windows" offering customers and consumers insights into the latest technology and its applications. They also represent  an excellent opportunity for suppliers and exhibitors to make direkt comparisons with their competitors. Comparing the best is the basis of a "benchmarking" approach which the European Commissions regard as important for increasing industrial competitiveness and improving the political and institutional environment.

It is the responsibility of EMECA Members of face the considerable challenges entailed in the development of the European Union´s economic system. Exhibitions centres are economic platforms which host and support small and medium-sized companies. Exhibitions are also an effective way of reducing trade barriers within Europe.

The following data describe the scale of exhibition activity at the 19 EMECA members
