 At the EMECA 2007 General Assembly in Bologna, Barbara
Weizsäcker presented an activity report for the EU
Working Group. She reported on the group’s meetings,
topics and activities since the start of its regular sessions
three years ago and showed that many of its original
aims have already been achieved. Nevertheless, long
term commitment to the European institutions is needed
to make EMECA’s voice heard, and this calls for further
active participation from all members. For more
